Dr. Moody will administer several tiny injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic directly into the muscles that cause those moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, crows feet, puppet lines, or a gentle lift to the eye lid.
Together with the Doctor, you will determine where to administer the injections by examining your facial muscles and expressions.
No anesthesia is required, although we may choose to numb the area with a cold pack and anesthetic cream prior to injecting. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Most patients compare the sensation to a pin prick.
You may resume normal activity immediately. You should see a marked improvement within 4-10 days. Improvement should then continue for up to a month, and could last 4-6 months.
